Heres the deal: We are testing a brand new nutrition supplement to see whether or not it affects an endurance athlete. The action is happening in the Exercise Physiology lab with Professor Dan Heil, who is extremely passionate for our ski team and loves to help us in any kind of way. The testing we are doing is lactate and max V02 on a double pole machine. Its cool do to something special now in the spring.
To all new people coming in, or possible new skiers: As you can see; this is the place to be:
- Skiing 2 minutes from campus (man made snow when it gets cold enough in the fall)
- Skiing at Bozeman Creek, with mountain lions and bears, only 8minutes away
- Skiing at Bohart on World Cup verified trails
- Rollerskiing and biking right from our door
- Running on great trails right around campus
- Hiking and running in the Rocky Mountains only a few minutes away.
- Intervals up steep and long alpine hills and mountain sides.
- Yellowstone National Park a little drive away.
- A community that is extremely psyched about having us, and we are psyched about having them.
- Everything is so close which allows more time for rest, good food, and more time for school work.
This place has everything a skier can demand for. It's up to you to take the advantages of it!
